In The Middle

"Trials blow in like storms..."

In the middle of all the chaos

In the middle of the mess,

Hold onto Jesus

In Him you will find rest.

Though your world is tossed and shaken

And the trials blow in like storms,

Jesus is your shelter

Let Him hold you in His arms.

Fear and worry drives you

In an endless sea of waves,

But cling to the Rock, Christ Jesus

And He will keep you safe.

In the middle of all the chaos

In the middle of the mess,

Hold onto Jesus

In Him you will find rest.

The tug of the storms’ currents

Try to pull you down and down,

And in the churning waters

It feels like you will drown.

But there’s a lifeline you can cling to

In the waters of your distress,

His Name is Savior, Jesus

Come to Him and He will bless.

In the middle of all the chaos

In the middle of the mess,

Hold onto Jesus

In Him you will find rest.

With all life’s trials and tribulations

He’s your help, your anchored peace,

Run into His safe shelter

And there find aid and release.

Though the tempest roll by day

And the fear stalks at night,

He will send His angels

And for you He’ll surely fight.

In the middle of all the chaos

In the middle of the mess,

Hold onto Jesus

In Him you will find rest.

Turn to your Beloved

He’s waiting for you here,

Turn to your dear Savior

He’s longing for you to draw near.

In the midst of all your trials

He promises peace of mind,

No matter how dark the night

It’s joy in Him you’ll find.

In the middle of all the chaos

In the middle of the mess,

Hold onto Jesus

In Him you will find rest.
