Spring's Resurrection

Just nearly a week ago, I was in Phoenix visiting family and spending time with dear friends. But in that short span of time, upon returning to Little Rock, I was astounded at the color and life that greeted my eyes everywhere I looked.
The once dormant grass and lawns were bursting forth in shades of viridescent, lime, and green, as though awakening from a long winter’s slumber of dormancy or even death.
Barren trees now wore a crown of resplendent glory of white sprinkled on the pear trees and dogwoods as though clothed in pure linen. Redbuds were dressed in shades of magenta, as if ready for a formal gathering or event.
The tulip tree in my driveway spread the wings of its limbs, holding lavender and white tulip flowers aloft as if bringing an offering for a king.

Azelas, dressed in a coat of soft rose and vibrant hot pink flowers, bore their beauty with grace as though ready for a formal dance in the garden of Creation.
Tulips in various shades of vermilion, ruby, or bright reds, and stunning hues of pink and coral, and velvety tones of lilac and plum flowers lifted their faces high toward the sun in an exhibition of beauty. Or perhaps they lifted their faces to worship the Son of all Creation.
Yellow tips on thin green stalks throughout my large backyard bed began to press their way through winter’s hardened soil as daffodils promised a new show soon to unfold, with life springing up everywhere.

What was once barren and seemingly dead was now springing to life in a glorious display of spring’s resurrection life! What new things will God unfold for you in the spring of new life?
Beloved:
See Me in all of Creation. I write you a love sonnet in the beauty of spring with the presentation of every flower in all of My Creation. Your winter season has passed. Embrace the new things unfolding just like the new season upon you! Let the old things pass away and embrace My resurrection life, just like spring.
“Faithfulness springs forth from the earth, and righteousness looks down from heaven.” (Ps. 85:11)
“For behold, the winter is past; the rain is over and gone. The flowers appear on the earth, the time of singing has come...” (Song of Solomon 21:11)
“All the people are like grass, and all their faithfulness is like the flowers of the field.” (Is. 40:6)
