Even if
He takes my
Loved one home.
Even if
I’m left
All alone.
Do I?
Will I?
Believe?
Still believe
In Your goodness
In Your grace?
Even if
My womb
Is empty and bare.
Even if
It seems He
Doesn’t answer prayer.
Do I?
Will I?
Believe?
Still believe
In Your goodness
In Your grace?
For He is
Bigger than my
Greatest fear.
And His Presence
Is always
Near.
For it’s
His love that
Is always pure.
And in
His Security
I’m always sure.
And I believe.
I still believe.
He is good.
Even if
The doctor says
There’s no hope.
Even if
I think that
I can no longer cope.
Do I?
Will I?
Believe?
Still believe
In Your goodness
In Your grace?
For He is
Bigger than my
Greatest fear.
And His Presence
Is always
Near.
For it’s
His love that
Is always pure.
And in
His Security
I’m always sure.
And I believe.
I still believe.
He is good.
And even if
A loved one
Walks away.
Even if
My spouse
Casts me astray.
Do I?
Will I?
Still believe?
In Your goodness
In Your grace?
Even if I suffer
And must
Bear a cross.
Then I die to self
For there
Is no loss.
Do I?
Will I?
Still believe?
In Your goodness
And in Your grace?
Even if
Friends or
Others betray.
Even if
I’m left
Baffled and dismayed.
Do I?
Will I?
Still believe?
In Your goodness
And in Your grace?
For He is
Bigger than my
Greatest fear.
And His Presence
Is always
Near.
For it’s
His love that
Is always pure.
And in
His Security
I’m always sure.
And I believe.
I still believe.
He is good.
